Currently we are in the midst of a substantial Capital Campaign to fund our new Interpretive Center and Conservatory. To date we have successfully raised $4,200,000 Million for this amazing project. We are now facing the task of raising an additional $1,500,000 Million in USA Funds.
The State Government of North Dakota , The Province of Manitoba and the Canadian Federal Government have all supported our cause with incredible resolve. However we have been unable to acquire any USA Federal support to date, so now we must look to private funding sources to "Deliver our Dream".
We are asking all our American friends to support our campaign by donating to the International Peace Garden Capital Fund. The Peace Garden is registered charitable 501 C 3 Corporation. When successful in raising this remaining $1,500,000 amount we will receive equivalent matching funds from the Canadian Federal Government and meet our Capital goal of $7,500,000 Million in total.
Our Center, a new year round facility will provide needed classroom space, archives, library, permanent display areas, improved retail area, restaurant and of course our conservatory.
Imagine in the dead of winter being able to stroll amongst a delightful collection of tropical plants. The Conservatory will follow the theme of peace gardens from around the world and include tropical palm, ferns, cycads, orchids, aroids and many other wonderful botanical curiosities.
